SOCIAL NETWORKS

Hello Shelly and Heather,

Sorry I missed the Drop In this morning - but I have all the others marked up on my calendar and will make sure I attend, as I do have outstanding issues.  Though I looked at Social Networks while I was in Vancouver at that time I just couldn't get into it.  Luckily today I have done much better, so in response to your queries on Social Networks, I hadn't thought I would but it seems that I will find Twitter rather interesting and informative.  My concern had been folks having access to my personal information, but it appears that that will not be a problem.  Will continue to access Twitter after the Betty Blogger program !!!  My twitter account is called NanditaPeebles, and I have chosen to follow the Burlington Public Library and posted a Tweet to them, one of Carrier Fisher whose show I saw today, and read with great interest the information available on Mental Health issues - particularly Depresssion. 

When I attend the next Drop In, I need to brush up on the previous week(s) assignments - though completed I'm not too comfortable with the steps involved.

Tagging

Hello Heather,

Over the drop in I bookmarked a couple of sites included in which were : www.csj-to.ca and tagged it as Mustard Seed, and www.toronto.com and tagged it as Entertainment. 

Need lots more exposure with this before I would say that I could use Diigo comfortably in the future.  As yet I am not familiar enough with it.

Trying to Stream - You Tube

Am trying to Stream Yoga for Beginners - Part 1, By Yogatic.  I was not able to cut and paste but am copying the URL below - it may achieve the same result, while I find out why I am not able to cut and paste.

I am concentrating on trying to do the assignment so wouldn't say I "enjoyed" the experience per se.  However, in the future it could be quite enjoyable.  In the general You Tube I had chosen a comic strip with kids that made me laugh.  You might enjoy it too.

I guess streaming is popular as it allows one to share information, tips, jokes, etc.  It is likely that I will continue to access YouTube when I have the time to do so.

My first experience with a Blog

Hello, I am moving cautiously along - hope I have done this correctly --- but will find out and change what needs to be changed.  Depending on where this goes, this could be fun.  I have NOT been asked for a Password - perhaps it is the Password for my new GMail Account - I did create a GMail Account as I seemed not to be able to Create a Blog with my Hotmail Account.  Will figure this all out by and by - no doubt !!!
